New discoveries Fantazia and Tactequete powered my pre-dawn run this morning, as Mount Rainier shifted from purple to pink to white. Why should music from Algeria and Spain speak to me on a sub-freezing Pacific Northwest morning? Maybe it was helping warm me from the ears down. Or maybe it's just one of those mysteries of world music.
