Lots of new names on the chart this month -- if my math is right, there are just three holdovers from January, including the bhangra stylings of #1 Red Baraat. More Indian flavors follow with the new release from raga slide-guitar virtuoso Debashish Bhattacharya. Also included: Oratnitza updates Bulgarian folk, Vusi Mahlasela sings to the people, Leni Stern continues her affair with West Africa, Flavia Coehlo shows new directions in Brazilian sound, Mr. Haris Pilton does some Gypsy dance tunes, Mop Mop finds a mystical isle of world-jazz-funk, Camile does live vocal gymnastics, and Koby Israelite shows that blues know no borders.

Have fun exploring the chart, and for a song from each album, tune in to Spin The Globe Friday Feb. 21 (or catch the archived show on Mixcloud later).
